Weekend Shift Mechanic

About the Role

Responsibilities Receive instructions covering scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection of work.

Inspect plant equipment for defects such as misalignment, wear, and insufficient lubrication. Plan working procedures to

minimize downtime. Advise on equipment shutdown or continued operation to avoid damage. Dismantle, clean, repair,

replace, install, maintain, and assemble equipment. Operate simple machine tools, scaffolds, rigging, and mechanical

lifting devices. Interpret drawings and sketches; plan tools, materials, and equipment requirements. Perform welding,

brazing, grinding, flame annealing, pipe and sheet metal fabrication. Install and maintain HVAC, compressors,
