About the Role

School Bus Driver and Substitute School Bus Driver Drives a bus to transport students over specified routes according to

schedule. Other duties may be assigned by the Transportation Director. Drives a school bus safely, proficiently, and

professionally while maintaining a timely schedule. Enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities. Maintains

appropriate student behavior by enforcing transportation rules and works with Principals and the Transportation Director

to issue consequences to maintain a positive and safe bus environment. Responsible for the general cleanliness of the

bus being used for a route or extracurricular activities. Properly performs and completes daily pre-trip bus inspections
