About the Role

Bus Mechanic Reports to: Director of Transportation General Summary: To maintain all vehicles in good condition, thereby

keeping interruptions to the educational program at a minimum. Essential Responsibilities: Repair work for buses

Performs preventative maintenance Exercises safety precautions and maintains work area Maintains and monitors complete

inventory of equipment, parts and supplies Diagnoses and repairs problems related to vehicle equipment Follows

preventative maintenance program as designed for corporation vehicles Works with head mechanic in monitoring use of

inventories and supplies Serves as a substitute for bus drivers as needed Exercises safety precautions and maintains
