About the Role
Local CDL Yard Jockey / Shuttle Driver Position A Yard Jockey is responsible for efficiently and accurately selecting
and staging trailers for loading and transport. Primary Responsibilities: Correctly move trailers in and out of dock
with yard goats Maneuvering truck and trailer safely in busy industrial environments Regularly checking equipment for
faults or damages Ensuring the equipment complies with all guidelines, including weight restrictions Proper pre and post
trip inspections and submitting reports indicating truck conditions Produce activity logs Adhere to guidelines of
safety-sensitive functions pertaining to job responsibilities within yard Identifying workplace safety hazards Other
