About the Role

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Sets up assembly area by getting materials and tools using a forktruck or overhead

crane. Positions parts according to knowledge of assembly or from blueprint. Assembles large metal assemblies. Uses hand

tools to fasten parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners such as rubber grommets, doors, tanks,

skirts, and tread. Taps out holes and grinds parts using a hand‐held grinder to produce a close fit between parts.

Assembles smaller assemblies for integration into large assemblies. Visually and physically inspects completed

assemblies to ensure quality and security, completes an inspection form, and uses a forktruck to transport the finished
